Mackmyra Brukswhisky Bottling Note Mackmyra's core expression is a light Swedish whisky matured primarily in first fill bourbon barrels but also includes whisky aged in Sherry and Swedish oak casks too as well as some smokier malt, which all adds to the complexity. Mackmyra Brukswhisky är en spännade, välbalanserad whisky som är skapad för att avnjutas vid alla tillfällen. Whiskyn har en ungdomligt fruktig karaktär med en kryddig smak av knäck och doft av smörkola, lakrits och citrus. Onto the whisky, Brukswhisky, is named after a blend of whisky from both distillery sites, the first part being 'Bruk' from the placename of 'Mackmyra Bruk'. It is bottling of 200 liters first fill Bourbon casks, matured during 5 yo.

Clear fruitiness with butterscotch, citrus and pear. Prominent notes are liquorice and mint. The palate is fruity and slightly smoky while the aftertaste is fruity and slightly spicy.
